Camping Birthday

Michael is 16 now.

He requested a camping/fishing weekend to celebrate.

He has grown into a sweet young man.

He has always been our happy, positive middle-child.

A new fishing pole and rain jacket were top birthday presents.

Michael loves nature.  

He keeps our bird feeders full and can identify every type that comes.

This male cardinal kept us company all weekend.

 Apparently our camp-site was his territory.

A blessed sixteen years.

The kids love to fish.

They spent their weekend on the lake and caught a good amount of fish!

We enjoyed watching the water birds and variety of water turtles.

The sunsets were lovely at our lake-view camp-site.

It was a very relaxing weekend for everyone.

So blessed to have him by my side raising our family.
