We had a great vacation!
The weather was gorgeous and we were blessed with a fun-filled week.
Our first stop was Franciscan University,
where Dominic will be attending college this fall.
It was a trip down memory lane
as this is the place where Ed and I met each other!
After spending the day here for orientation we buzzed to our nation's capital, Washington D.C., to catch the monuments at night.
Does the word crazy come to mind?
It was beautiful and fun.
We arrived to our hotel late at night and met up with some of our extended family for breakfast and a quick visit to Colonial Williamsburg.
We love it here.
Even if for a brief stop-over it is a treat!
And then we headed to the beach!
Wahoo, that was what the kiddos were bursting at the seams for since we made these plans in the depths of winter.
We're sorting the plethora of beach pictures and will be posting some in the days to come.
