Some of the children and I just finished reading this book. My teenage boys give it a thumbs up! It is a story of 14th Century Poland mixed with suspense, mystery and adventure. My favorite part is how the Catholic Faith is beautifully woven throughout. There is spiritual warfare and good versus evil; it is a story of tradition and moral courage.
We became fascinated with the heynal, St. Mary's Church and Wawel Castle which led us to some online research. Now we want to visit Krakow, land of John Paul II!
This site of Polish Art caught my eye especially since we are in the Easter season.
